From his introduction to music at age eight in the dancehalls of Peñasco, through a lifetime of collecting music of the "Viejitos" and performing with his family and friends at the Smithsonian and venues throughout the SouthWest, Cipriano spins fantastic stories and humorous songs, creates a legacy of collected traditional works, and serves as an authentic voice for his people.
