How to Make and Paint with Natural Pigments Featuring Master Santero and Teacher Juanito Jimenez

Juanito Jimenez has been painting Santos with pigment paints he made himself from naturally occurring clays for more than forty years.  In this video he teaches a student how to collect these clays from a colorful quarry near Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu New Mexico, how to use a binder to make the pigments into  paints, and how to apply these paints to a gesso coated board.
